The audience I will be looking to target for my magazine will be mainly teenagers between the ages of 15-19 and it will be mainly boys. The genre of music my magazine will be about is R&B which is mainly listened to by teenage boys which is why this is my target audience. The stereotypical person who would read my magazine would be a 17 year old boy who follows the latest fashion and music trends, is popular amongst his friends and peers. He will be looking to be successful in the future and have a busy social life where he can pick up my magazine and know everything he wants to know quickly. The style of the magazine will be similar to other successful R&B magazines but as the audience is quite specific it probably wont be a huge magazine and the price and circulation numbers will resemble that. I will most likely sell the magazine for around £2 as it is aimed at teenagers who generally don’t have huge incomes.
